Government launches book on its development programmes

Accra (Greater Accra) 08 January 2003- Government on Tuesday launched a 184-page book that catalogued its achievements for the past two years. The Book, "Ghana-Positive Change 2002-Developing Our Communities", was launched by Jake Obestebi-Lamptey, Minister of Information and Presidential Affairs at the People's Assembly held in Accra.

The contents centred on development projects in the education, health and the provision of infrastructure in all the 110 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies as well as activities of President John Agyekum Kufuor both within and outside the country. Launching the book, Obetsebi-Lamptey said a national photographic campaign in all the districts had also been set up.
